Michelle is a Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner as well as a Family Nurse Practitioner licensed in the state of Missouri. She began her nursing career as an ICU RN in 2006 and completed her Master’s in Nursing through Saint Louis University in 2012. With over 15+ years experience in the medical field, she is well versed in the art of patient care with the knowledge and skills acquired to provide thorough, patient-centered, and individualized treatment plans to a wide range of disorders. She became a psychiatric nurse practitioner because of her passion to help the unseen wounds and illnesses many of us face. Michelle is dedicated to providing care not only with knowledge, but compassion, integrity, and kindness as well. She is certified in child, adolescent, and adult care and is accepting patients ages 5-70. When she’s not seeing patients, Michelle loves spending time with her husband Matt at their home in the Lake of The Ozarks. They have two grown daughters and love spending as much time with them and their families/friends out on the boat as possible. In her free time Michelle also has a love for baking, reading, and binging Netflix. Michelle is passionate about empowering individuals to achieve their mental health goals and believes every person deserves access to quality care. Michelle is offering a once monthly clinic on Saturdays for a full range of psychiatric services and medication management. The only limitation is that Michelle is unable to prescribed stimulants for ADHD. She is happy to coordinate with your primary care provider for these services if they are open to coordination of care. New patient appointments are 60 minutes, while follow up appointments for established patients are 15 or 25 minutes.
Michelle is in network with Cigna and can file session fees to Cigna on behalf of clients. She is unable to file with any other insurance company directly, but can provide a superbill to be submitted for reimbursement to clients whose insurance company offers out of network benefits.
