Ginger has always had a passion for wanting those around her to feel safe and loved. For over 20 years, she has dedicated her career to working with diverse populations doing just that. With a Bachelor of Science in Family Life and Community Service from Kansas State University and continuing her education with a Master of Science from Friends University in Marriage and Family Therapy, Ginger used her education to help people feel safe, supported and loved, and most importantly, live the best life THEY wanted to live. Ginger has worked with clients in fields such as family preservation, homeless youth and teens, individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, and organizational leadership and management. Ginger is skilled at working to maximize potential in systems, organizations, and most importantly, people. Ginger specializes in working with couples/parents, individuals, and teens. Whether it’s repairing old, unmet needs, or helping build skills to strengthen current relationships, Ginger wants everyone to feel seen and heard. She is a mom of two teenage daughters that keep her busy and on her toes. They couldn’t be more different, but that’s also what makes life fun! Ginger loves to travel, loves music, and is a diehard Chiefs fan. Never say ‘this game is in the bag,’ she might be superstitious! She’s a KS girl at heart, but has called Missouri home since moving to the area in 2005. Ginger is supervised by Melissa Winston, MS, LMFT-S, LCMFT-S.
