Morgan completed her masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Central Missouri. Prior to this, she received her Bachelor’s of Science in Child and Family Development with a minor in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality studies. Morgan has worked with children for many years and is passionate about working with children of all ages. She believes that play is the language of children and how they most authentically express themselves. Morgan also works with adolescents and is especially interested in helping address the mental health needs of LGBTQ+ adolescents. Morgan has received training in Child Centered Play Therapy and is certified in Mental Health First Aid and QPR Suicide Prevention. Morgan is qualified to work with children, teens, adults, couples, and families. Morgan values safety, support, honesty, hope, and education in the therapy room. She believes her role as a therapist is to guide her clients inward to process their thoughts and emotions as they work together to address the problems they face. Morgan acknowledges that life can be extremely difficult and overwhelming to navigate at times. But she also believes that life is meant to be enjoyed and that we can work to come to solutions and create goals that help us walk towards the life we want to live. Morgan believes when people are met with non-judgemental support, they are able to acknowledge these parts of themselves with love and can begin their journey of self acceptance and healing. Morgan is supervised by Melissa Winston, MS, LMFT-S, LCMFT-S. In her free time Morgan enjoys reading fiction, spending time with her friends and family, listening to music, and being outdoors. She is currently accepting new clients and also offers secure telehealth sessions.
Morgan is able to submit insurance claims on behalf of clients as an in-network provider with Cigna & Aetna. She can offer a superbill to submit to other carriers as an out of network provider.
