Kaci has lived in the Kansas City area for most of her life. She has a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Child and Family Development from the University of Central Missouri and a Master’s degree in Human Development and Family Science with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from UCM as well. Kaci believes that all people deserve to feel seen, heard, and understood. She values honesty, compassion, kindness, and trust in the therapy room and wants everyone to experience therapy as a safe space for expression and exploration. She is an adamant advocate for mental health and believes that all people can benefit from therapy and that everyone goes through unique transitions and experiences during different seasons of life. She is a believer that life can be beautiful even during difficult times, and that happy moments and small wins should be appreciated. Her goal as a therapist is to increase her client’s understanding of their identity, relationships, and increase self-expression, communication, and confidence. Kaci knows that therapy can seem intimidating, but she is focused on making it a positive experience of growth and hope. Kaci is qualified to work with individuals, families, couples, and children and is certified in Mental Health First Aid. She has experience working with individuals, couples, and families, and has ten years of experience working with children. She is especially interested in working with young adults, couples, and individuals or families going through transitional periods. Kaci is supervised by Melissa Winston, MS, LMFT- S, LCMFT-S.
Kaci is able to offer in-network billing with Cigna only. She is happy to provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement as an out of network provider for other carriers.
